Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

Went in for allergy symptoms and sore throat. Provider didn’t even look at the throat. Did Covid test and said stay home until you get the results.

The doctor was knowledgeable about my knee injury. She did many movement tests to determine the best plan of action. Thank you for being awesome!

I went to use restroom and there was no soap in the dispenser. I was broken. I was also seen for a covid test. Would prefer the rapid test. People don't like to wait to know if they have covid.

- Verified patient on 9/15

Provider was great. However website says rapid tests are available and they were not. Was informed at appt. Would have a scheduled elsewhere

Vincent was very nice and really thorough. He explained the tests and gave me detail info about what he found on examination. He also advised me what to take at home. Overall it was a nice experience.

The wait time was very disappointing, Because... When I set up my initial appointment on line, I was never informed that I could still have a two hour wait. Also, my initial appointment was postponed and rescheduled only to find out that I could still have an hour wait. I think the potential wait time could have been a reason "not" to utilize NextCare U.R. fir my Covid test. Respectfully.... A.A.C. .

Checked in at 1:22 for a 1:30 appointment. Did not get seen until 4. This appointment was for a covid test. Was told it would only take a few minutes.

I was there over an hour just for a Covid test. The app said no one was ahead of me.

I recommend the management of the location install plexiglass shields for the receptionists, I was very surprised that people coming in to get Covid tests are very close to the receptionist and the only precautions are masks when Additional measures can easily be implemented to protect the staff. There was not a lot of information on the cost of the appointment the details of my appointments or anything to take with me at the end of the appointment, it was all verbal and online so I was unsure what test I was actually getting and the cost. I also recommend the management review the process for getting information from the patient I filled out quite a bit online about my history and symptoms however, I was also asked in the room some of the same questions by two different individuals. Other than those recommendations everything was excellent and the staff were very friendly and fast.

On a busy Sunday, everyone — from the front desk through the medical personnel— were kind, informative, and very helpful. I was contacted as soon as test results were available, and medication was called in immediately. I am very grateful. Note: I was clearly (and accurately) informed of the projected wait time that day. The desk staff worked very skillfully with everyone’s responses.

The doctor put my mind at ease about the seriousness of the numbness in my hands. He explained that urgent care is not equipped to do tests for things like fibromyalgia, and that if it gets worse to go to the ER.

I’ve recommended NextCare to folks because I usually have a great experience there. Today was a bit bazaar. Went in for an antibody test. The receptionist and tech were amazing. The doctor came in and literally tried to convincing me not to get the test. Saying it wasn’t inaccurate. I read and signed a paper stating it wasn’t but was still interested. She then told me that I may have to pay $150 as some insurance companies don’t cover it. I said okay, I still want it. Then she said okay well I have to order it and you will have to go to a lab! I was like why would the website state antibody tests are available if they cannot draw blood. She told me she would have to ask since things change daily. I’m surprised she entered the room immediately trying to discourage me from getting the test AND not educated on the antibody test process. It was very weird.

First time going there. People are normal. Quiet and easy going. The people who complain about this place more less are the issue not the staff receptionist was nice, the lady whom took my vitals was easy and the guy who put a rod in my nose to test was also nice. I had a very pleasant time. Would recommend because it’s smooth.

I really liked the two people who saw me, man who took my vitals and especially the PA who gave me the covid test. She was great.

It was good; however when I was checking in I could not remember the word recoverytrek when I did the girls up front said in a loud voice “oh your here for a drug test!!” And then laughed. I recommend that they understand that they consider that patient might not want everyone to know what they are there for. I don’t want the girls to get in trouble just a good teaching point. No harm no foul on my end.

I needed a Covid test and I just walked in filled out paperwork, spoke with a nurse who took information and then another nurse took my test and I was done

The Covid swab test was a tad more gentle via the lady nurse my last visit but the gentleman (doctor) wasn’t terrible. Wish I could have hugged him to brighten his day. The ladies were cheerful and efficient. Excellent experience overall.

I came in for a Covid test and thought that after having Covid-19 for about 2 weeks I thought the doctor would listen to my lungs and heart at least all they did was check my blood pressure and no weight gotten. I told him I had copd so thought he would listen to my lungs but didn’t. I did wait a little longer than I thought I should but they are short staffed. All in all it was good experience. I booked on line.

Had a 1:30 appt Got there at 1:15 Got in a room 2:15 or so wait another 20 minutes to be seen Then was told to sit out in lobby while calling in prescription I got test from Walmart that they were ready but was never called to the front desk to check out another painful amount of time So finally I went up and she was happy to check me out Thst wasn't clearly explained to me that I could get checked out Frustrating afternoon Got some help with my problem tho

I came in very last minute to get a walk-in COVID test. The staff was very friendly and patient. I appreciate that they allowed me to get a test even though they were nearing closing time. I would definitely come here again and recommend this place to friends, family, and coworkers.

Silver City Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
