Friendly Staff

I went to get a covid test today. I was warmly greeted by receptionist who gave me instructions and I was called in and greeted by technician who was very nice and thorough. I waited for results and then seen by a physician. He checked my glands and throat. He was very nice and gave me some suggestions to help my sore throat. In all it was a very comforting experience and I would highly recommend the staff at 100 Mill Plain Rd. Thank you all! Ann Peters

I recently moved to Wappingers and have been sick twice. Both of my visits to the HealthQuest Urgent Care were excellent. The receptionist was friendly and the exam was prompt and thorough. The care was much better than other urgent cares I have visited. Thank you!

Will not write about my experience other than the fact that the receptionist  young lady that checked me in and took my vitals was excellent. Do not want to share what followed.

It was so quick and easy honestly. The video call was reliable and there weren’t any issues at all. I couldn’t have been more happier with the way things have gone and then going to get tested for COVID was even easier. I absolutely loved this experience.

I was denied another test as I had tested positive a few weeks ago. My job had requested I get tested again, but the doctor I spoke with at pulse MD said they were refusing testing for people who have already tested positive.

I was so impressed with how easy and organized this whole testing went and as for the nurses and any other staff, they were informative and helpful and were a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend your Urgent Care to everyone.... Thank you

Laura at virtual visit was very helpful. I was a bit confused with the online process. At one point, I received a cancellation text on the way to appointment. So that was odd. But Laura was super informative with how the visit works. After virtual visit I drove to drive-thru COVID testing in Mahopac. The health care worker who conducted test saw me right away. She explained in detail what to expect before test. It was easy. Thanks!

We have had many virtual visits wit Pulse Md Mahopac as well as have been there to get tested several time the staff is always so helpful and friendly. Today we spoke with Lisa and she was just so helpful & knowledgeable. This was the 2nd or 3rd time she took care of us. Also very sweet. Would highly recommend them and this is coming from a Mom with a child with server asthma always in drs and hospitals but there is no place as good and caring about their patients as pulse.

Went for a rapid Covid test. It was quick and easy. Was told they would call me with results and received that call within an hour. I need a hard copy of the results and have to double back to pick them up because they can’t email them to me. Was going to go tomorrow to pick them up but realized I need to upload them to a site for travel. Have been on hold for 24 minutes now waiting to speak with someone to ask that they print them today. So much for ‘we will be with you shortly’

After filling out a form for a covid test, they do both rapid and 4-5 days testing. Did a virtual on line visit with a doctor and he was just helpful and considerate during conversation. Have appt in 6 days after exposure.

I am so pleased with the care I received today. The staff was friendly and extremely polite and professional. I was hesitant to take the COVID test and at first I refused it but changed my mind after a while. The staff accommodated this change of heart expeditiously and without any reproach. Maia was especially patient and maintained a kind and compassionate tone even though I was a bit of a pain at one point. I recommend the entire crew. Thanks folks, you made an unwell person feel as comfortable as possible. Great job!

My husband and I wanted to get my son tested for Covid because he had a runny nose, a sore throat, and wasn't feeling well. We made a virtual appointment for him and logged in at 1:15, like we were prompted to, as our appointment was at 1:30. We were seen a little before 2pm, so waiting that time seemed a little long, but we did not wait long at all to get tested. We pulled in, texted, and within 5-10 minutes, we were seen and my son was swabbed. We were given our results about 15-20 minutes later, and we were on our way.

Pulse MD Urgent Care in Mahopac consistently has the most friendly, kind and caring staff. Their efficiency in administering the rapid Covid test is unbelievable. They are well organized and extremely efficient. I highly recommend Pulse MD Urgent Care in Mahopac for any type of urgent care needs or Covid testing.

Higher volume of people being tested today in Wappingers , but not a big deal maybe 30 minute wait time , the Nurses there that come out to test you are very thorough , I wouldn’t want to have to do what they do in this bitter cold weather we are having

Spent a lot of time in the virtual reading room, over an hour, of course than usual volume, but once I got the doctor he was very helpful, and your receptionist was fantastic. Had to pay for a rapid PCR test out of pocket, but the nurse who delivered to service in the parking lot was also spectacular. You have wonderful employees

Wasn't sure what to expect but our experience far exceeded our expectations! Easy to schedule, spoke very briefly with a clinician and then headed over for the test. Very professional, kind young man administered the test while we sat in our car. Done in a few minutes. Easy!

This was the first time I used Pulse MD services. I thought getting a Covid test would take much longer. Having to not administer the test myself was great. Doing the virtual screening before the test was very easy and fast. Thank you!

Pulse-urgent Care was awesome! I wasn’t able to see my personal doctor until next week so I decided to call Pulse-urgent care. I was so happy with the way the way everything went. I was able to see a doctor virtually with the appointment time of my choice the same day. I was diagnosed immediately and explained how to proceed with a COVID test for the following day.

I needed to get a drive up COVID test to return to work. I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner as Care Mount was booked into next week. They actually saw me virtually early so I was able to have the test that day and I only waited an hour, not bad! The nurse was lovely. Thank you Pukse MD!

The doctor I spoke to for my telemedicine appointment was very nice and personable. The nurse who took my covid test was also very nice. I drove half an hour to get to this office due to availability and had a very good experience. I’m sure this office is so busy but the wait was much better than other clinics I visited. Highly recommend!

During this trying week following Christmas , I think your staff at the Poughkeepsie Urgent Care did a great job! As hectic as it was to get a Virtual visit and Covid and flu test, your staff maintained a professional and courteous attitude. Thank you!!!

I went to Pulse Md for a Covid test and I was very pleased!! I set up an appt on their website for the same day. I received a phone cal to acquire my history and from a NP then told to come in. The nurse/ tech was very peasant and easy going. It was not a comfortable test to say the least. But because they were so easy and friendly I would definitely return and recommend this site. Thank you for making my appt and testing so easy

Mahopac Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
