My husband had a late appt Saturday night. He was feeling so bad. Didn’t really wanna go but once we got there he only waited maybe 5 minutes.  We were out in 20 minutes or less. Seth was great.  Prescriptions sent to pharmacy would highly recommend the Beavercreek location.

Angela, the NP, was fabulous. She put my mom at ease and explained things so she could understand. Sherry kind and caring. I don't remember the nurses name and she was awesome as well.  I always go to Huber Heights Urgent care because of the excellent care we received. Thank you!!

I scheduled an online appointment time. I still had to wait a little bit. I would have thought I’d be taken before the walk in people. But, my care was very good and everyone was very friendly. The nurse even brought me a cup of cold water without my asking. I really like your clinic and the care I got there.

I knew I needed a quick doctor visit with a busy day ahead of me. I was able to schedule easily online then got in and got out in no time flat. Staff was very friendly! The NP, Beth, was awesome. Very kind and attentive plus she explained the medications perfectly so I knew what to expect. My prescriptions were sent in a timely manner- which I truly appreciated. I have not had good experiences with urgent care facilities in the past but Apex CiniCare changed my mindset and will be my new urgent care go to!

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

Appointment was at 9 AM I called them exactly at nine they answered the phone said they would call me back in a little bit. They didn’t call me back until 9:14 a.m.. so I sat in my car for 14 minutes. I don’t know why it took so long because I was the only one there and Just needed a quick Covid test for surgery. I had to hurry up and leave because I had another doctors appointment scheduled by 10 so that’s why I wanted to get the test promptly.

The staff were super nice. Everything works as quick as possible. They Came in and did a check of us after our Covid test. Told us what to do if we were still feeling bad in few days and give us some information to help my leg pain, swelling and hurting. I have been to other Urgent cares before and I really hated them and I said I would never go back to one so I was really leery about coming to this one to get my Covid test. But now I know there is a urgent care I can go to if I ever need to. Everything was super great people were friendly and I did feel comfortable there. So thank you so much for that.

Staff was very patient with me I have social anxiety so it was hard for me to give a sample but they were very patient and allowed me to wait in the waiting room until I was ready and able to continue with my testing. thank you I drove a long way to get there and I'm glad that they were so patient with me they were very friendly as well and followed all social distancing procedures.

This is my second COVID test and although I had to wait maybe 5 minutes longer than the first, I absolutely am thrilled with the ease and speed of getting tested. I wish I had gotten the name of the person ( female) doing my test. I’m pretty sure she did it before too and she is wonderful! Very gentle.

I went to have some blood tests. There were 2 people. The first looked at my arms and could not find a vein and wanted to take the blood from my hands. I said no. The first person then said to the other person that she needed to take a look because the first couldn't find a vein. I felt she really didn't look. The 2nd person found one and with one stick, got the vials she needed. She was very good.

I was surprised that even with an appointment and arriving 5 minutes early, I waited almost 15 minutes past my appointment time. The lady behind the desk was efficient but not friendly. The ladies drawing blood had some problem just telling me what the tests were that would be done. I didn’t ask them to explain what they were, just to list them for me. Surprising that they had that much trouble. Most phlebotomists don’t.

I arrived a bit early and got signed in. I was taken back within 5 minutes. The technician was very friendly and introduced herself and asked for my paperwork. She input what information she needed to and explained what tests I needed to complete while there. She drew my blood with no problems. Then she took me down the hallway to get a urine sample. It was nice that she offered the cap to help make getting the urine easier. When done she wished me a good day and shared that the results would probably be available the next day. I booked my appointment online.

Due to a friend telling me to breathe out through my nose during testing and using my 'moistening' nasal spray before leaving my house, the procedure was just a bit uncomfortable with no irritation after. The staff was very pleasant and professional. I didn't have to leave my car; how easy was that!! 🌻

Outstanding. The person taking my blood valued me and went the extra mile trying to help me get the necessary tests done so I can have my surgery. So very kind and professional. I was very impressed. I am so recommending this blood lab to all my colleagues friends and family. Thank u again for outstanding service

It was great the person I usually deal with who's familiar with my case was there and she made the experience friendly quick and she was able to get everything she needed I didn't encounter any pain or discomfort and I had over 10 tests that were requested so I appreciate her remembering me and being so nice

I arrived two minutes befor my appt. for COVID test and checked in by phone. Said they’ed be out shortly. Waited 30 minute then saw staff member come out to car next me which had been there only a few minutes. Called them again and said sorry and came right out. They need a better way of making sure every one is being taken care of. I was sweating a lot in my car in the sun because I couldn’t run it 30 minutes to keep cool. I am not rich! By the time I got my COVID test finished I was very stressed!

Just came in for a covid test and they met you at your car and brought paper work out to complete and were back out to get it before I had completely filled it out. She answered a couple questions I had and she took the paper work and completed the test and we were on our way. Much better experience than I imagined.

I checked it on the computer and then went back to my tar like I was supposed to and missed my 1st appointment with back and assigning again. Once I figured out the crazy sign in and go back to car or not, it was smooth from there on. The gal who did my blood test was excellent and I did not feel a thing.

My tech went above and beyond to try and help me from having to pay out of pocket for 2 of my blood tests. She even made several calls to the doctors office to work through coding issues on the doctors orders. And the nice lady at the front desk was wonderful too. Thanks! Paul Palcic

The staff apologized for keeping me waiting but the wait was minimal. I went to a different location last year for biometric testing. They kept me waiting a lon time, telling me they had to get the biometric room ready. Then they just took blood, no other measurements. I was very pleased my experience was different at this location.

The nurse was expecting me and was out The door before I was out of the car 🚘. She informed me that I needed to stay in the car and she would be out to administer the test after I filled out the paperwork. I finished the paperwork and she came back and gave me the test. And it all took about as long as it took you to read this.

The lab technician was very efficient and went out of her way to assist my husband who is mostly wheelchair bound. She also contacted the physician's office to request that one of the lab test be requested a different way so it would be covered by the insurance. If I could have given her more than five stars, I would have. You have an awesome employee. Please give her my appreciation and thanks.

I was a walk in. I went in and there were 5 other people in the waiting room so initially I thought, "oh no, this might be awhile." Low and behold I was signed in immediately and taken back within 5 minutes and immediately got my testing done. Quick, easy, and painless. Would highly reccomend this particular compunet testing facility. Waiting room was spaced out nicely as well.

- Verified patient on 2/11

Even without an appointment, I was in and out of the facility within fifteen minutes. I have recently had blood tests approximately once a month. Most of my blood draws have been done by Safiya. She is excellent! Her needle insertions are painless and she does quick tube changes. I highly recommend the CCL facility at MVH South.

- Verified patient on 4/14

Very good, very accommodating. However, I do not understand why you caused the Wyoming Street stand alone test site (behind Berry). The Berry site is not conducive to older people or those with mobility issues to have to park in garage and walk over to Berry. I wish you would rethink this move as the industry is going to more place based access vs making non hospital customers navigate big hospitals for a five minute blood test. Seeing a person with a walker trying to make way to the Berry Hospital is sad and reeks of customer inconsideration.

- Verified patient on 7/6

My technician was great. Help me set it up so that my test went to both of my doctors. Did an excellent job with the draw. She felt bad that it was so many tubes which was nice of her to care. I’m still bummed they took away the wrap stuff though. I hate the paper tape and Band-Aids still are kind of tough to pull off on my delicate skin. Other than that it was a great experience.

- Verified patient on 1/15

My experience was great from the ladies in the back. They were all fantastic and extremely understanding. However, after spending 3 hours in the waiting room for my test listening to conversations and interactions, the woman in the reception area was not as pleasant and came off as rude. Particularly regarding the electronic sign in process. Not everyone is well versed in new technology.

Dayton Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it.
