My son got sick while we were visiting from out of town. I got a quick appointment, had no issues with my insurance, and the staff and Dr. (Robin) were amazing. I’ve been telling everyone while we have been visiting family here that if they need urgent care, it’s the place to go.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This clinic has shorter than average waiting periods

Short Wait Time

The front desk and the assistant was friendly, kind. Andrea was who saw us. She was fast, we were and out in a timely manner. We did not feel rushed but she made sure even being busy to see us and assist us with our medical concern. I will continue to return in the future and recommend to family and friends.

Hands down most professional and caring Urgent Care I've ever been to. I've been on a wait list as a new patient for several months to see my new Dr and in the meantime, they've been wonderful to myself and my daughter for illness and Covid testing.

I was very nervous, came to get a covid test, my first one....the nurse made me feel very relaxed with her comforting attitude..... The nurse practioner, who gave the test, was very proficient and the test went so easy!! He was a nice young man......Yes, I would recommend this Urgent Care!!!

- Verified patient on 10/13

We were able to have our COVID tests administered quickly . We received our rapid test results well before the estimated time we were given .

- Verified patient on 1/3

I brought my 12 year old daughter for a COVID test, her first. The doctor was wonderful. He calmed her fears and administered the test with great care. She was amazed how smooth it went! Thank you.

- Verified patient on 3/2

I needed a screening before a surgery. COVID protocols changed at my surgery site. Other places could not guarantee test results within 72 hours. I scheduled my appointment online, had my appointment and got my results all within 2 hours. Very pleasant staff. Friendly even though I know they are exhausted with all the testing and hours they are doing. Thank you for making a difference!

- Verified patient on 9/12

Felt like the sign in process was a little cumbersome and could be nearly impossible for a lot of people. However my overall experience was good . Everybody I dealt with from phone triage to provider was friendly & professional. I received test results quickly and efficiently.

- Verified patient on 4/30

Extremely easy to schedule online. Easy directions to facility. The technician conducting the covid test was so kind and compassionate. Gave me some instructions in case my test came back positive, which it did. Technician that called me with my results was also kind. Everyone who test positive probably has the same basic questions. It might be beneficial to direct these individuals to your website which would give helpful information as to some remedies to take and do while recovering. The shock of testing positive could be a little overwhelming and one does not listen or remember what is being said to them. Great experience. Job well done.

I was phoned right away by a very caring your lady. She was so very nice. Then the Dr did a Covid Test. He was quick and thorough and made me feel at ease. He was very nice and that helps.

- Verified patient on 4/25

Every staff member that I was in contact with via phone and in-person were kind, helpful, and patient. I appreciate all of you. I was treated with much respect. Thank you so much for providing me such speedy test results. Thank you for being in the health care system and on the front lines.

- Verified patient on 4/9

Going far beyond what was necessary, on a cold, snowy day they came to our car to administer my COVID test. Such kindness in a sometimes unkind world. Thank you!

- Verified patient on 1/31

This was my first experience with Urgent Care. The staff was very professional and friendly. The wait time was minimal. My COVID test was administered and I received the results in a timely manner. Thank you Urgent Care staff for a very pleasant experience.

- Verified patient on 8/29

First time there, great experience. Took a while to get the results of a Covid test, but that's to be expected based on how it's spiking.

- Verified patient on 12/20

All staff was very friendly and accommodating. The covid test was not as bad for me as I have heard from others.

I booked my appointment online. I was in the waiting room 3 minutes. The nurse was with me for about 10 to 15 minutes getting my extensive health history, was attentive and asked intelligent questions to spur anything I might have forgotten into memory. The doctor recognized me from prior visits with my children, did a necessary lab test, and we discussed if the results point one direction care will go this way; if the lab results go this direction these type of medications will be required and what my concerns were about the medications so I would receive what worked for me. The entire process with the doctor took less than 10 minutes and I was free to go. I received a call about 30 minutes later with the results and the medications were sent to my pharmacy, all of which were in formulary with my insurance. I definitely would recommend this place for urgent care needs. Everyone was so nice, professional, and fast. Now I can recover at home comfortably with chicken noodle soup and warm blankets.

- Verified patient on 10/30

I needed a Covid test on a short notice. I was in and out in record time. No negative thoughts or issues at all.

- Verified patient on 11/1

All I needed was a COVID test Pryor to departing for a cruise. I received the necessary results in a timely manner. The appointments made were very closely followed. I would use NVUC again and I have told others about the location.

- Verified patient on 10/29

We needed COVID testing, they were super helpful, we were seen the same day and had are results in less than an hour.

- Verified patient on 4/15

I gave facility cleanliness 3 stars only because I didn't see the facility. My test was done inside the door, which I was actually grateful for such quickness. Inside the door and the tray carrying the necessary "tools" was very clean.

- Verified patient on 1/26

Dr Orth made the test painless! Brandi checked me in fast and Kelly and Alyssa informed me with my results in a timely manner! Such a great team! ☺️

- Verified patient on 2/4

Just was a little behind I had an appointment at 2:15 and didn’t get tested until 2:40, but that’s it and I understand the work healthcare workers are under right now so I can’t really complain. So overall good experience, I didn’t mind waiting for the test

Newark Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
