I woke up this AM with UTI sx. My insurance sent me to Tran Urgent Care. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of scheduling, the care, and the prompt care as well. I would like to see an improved patient portal experience. The provider and staff were kind and knowledgeable.

This clinic is rated highly in reviews for their friendly staff

Friendly Staff

Very easy to schedule appt for a same day. Was surprised by the fact that they are paperless and in order to view anything you have to download their app. It’s been 2 days and still no results, as for the medication you have to go on the appt and send it your self to the pharmacy otherwise you will not get it. Overall it was a good visit but it could have improved on some things for sure.

I had my annual physical this morning.  It’s not something I look forward to but I have to say Sarah Phillips and her team were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.  I left the clinic feeling that they had delivered an excellent heathcare experience.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Labcorp for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Awesome experience. Quick and easy. The only advice is this: I did a google search of both, “COVID-19 / Covid test near me” and “free Covid test near me.” The first one showed “COVID-19 Testing at Bellevue College (UW Medicine)” but didn’t show as “free”. Nor did it show as being a part of “king county”. The “fee Covid test near me” search didn’t show Bellevue College, nor did it show King County / UW at all. It did have a link for dog.wa.gov but that didn’t clearly show Bellevue College nor free testing. I actually became aware of the free King Co testing at Bellevue College via another location that I called from the dog.wa.gov website. They told me “just go to Bellevue College”. So… please work on your search engine optimization so more people can, more easily, go get tested if they fee they’ve been exposed. Thank you!! The team at Bellevue College did an amazing job and the automated test results (via text) was super quick.

The teams there are exceptional! Kind. Efficient. Professional. Drive thru testing works very well. I was grateful to not have to have an appt. One suggestion: Understanding that you must close a site in advance of the time you wish to release the teams of testers, I advise you to post that on your website. ie: Bellevue College site says testing is from 9-5. Last eve the site was closed at 4:15 or so. This allowed the staff to leave at 5:00-or close to that I’m guessing. Perfect. Please state on the website that folks wishing testing must be in line by 4:15. All later arrivals will be/must be turned away. Staff must be free by 5:00. Everyone will have put in a long day. Thank you for making testing available. Wait time is to be expected. If one wishes to not wait very long-arrive before 8:00 AM…or earlier Small matter for peace of mind in the face of this virus. Thank you.

I cannot believe how smooth the whole process was. Our appointment was just after 10 AM. We took the drive-in route and entered the garage. The line kept moving quite fast and we were at the test site within 20 min. The actual test was super quick too - the nasal swab took under a minute. And we were out of the place. All within 30 min of entering the garage. I also saw many signs requesting the drivers to turn off their cars and avoid idling. I got a text just after 24 hours that the test results are available. 24 hours - that's all. I have been to places where a PCR test took 8 business days (that is a story for another time!). Net-net, I would strongly recommend Bellevue College for testing. They have a streamlined process and are super-fast.

Great setup. There are 3 drive up checkpoints: Step1.Get registered/confirm your appointment details. Step 2. Tent #1- Confirm your info so they can print out the labels for your vials, put on vials and give them to you with your QR code info. You drive with the vials to next tent. Step 3: Tent#2- Team members to coach you and watch as you swab yourself or swab for you. My 12 year old preferred they do it and it went great through the window. The tip of the swab is small, soft and pliable. Different than the cotton swab on a stick in the office for my test last fall. The process is efficient. We had no lines, so if there is a backup you will get frustrated at waiting, but it is not due to inefficiency or slowness on the team’s part. Just volume. The team members were all great. All in a great mood, helpful and caring. Great job in whoever hired these folks and provide the with what I assume is a pleasing work environment.

My four year old son was exposed to someone with Covid at his outdoor preschool. Since the date of exposure is unknown, Public Health officials recommended we get him tested now and then again in 5-7 days. As soon as I received the recommendation, I made an appointment and got him tested, all inside of an hour. It was the first time any of us had visited a testing site. The staff was wonderful and let him know it would feel like a little tickle. He giggled and it was over in a snap. Such a great experience during a potentially scary time. A big thank you to all the volunteers and workers at the Bellevue College site!!!

We arrived 10-ish on Tuesday 11/16 at Bellevue College. We have tested here below. No appointment this time although we have waited (probably about 15 minutes). Your operation was extremely efficient. We liked that our first contact asked us for our phone number, confirmed by a DOB. We liked that we were directed to person that waved us to the shortest wait line. We liked that the next station gave us personal vials for samples to be tested at the last station. Very efficient with appropriate number of entry and testing stations. I would duplicate this process at all your sites. All your personnel were courteous and professional. Great job - please pass our gratitude to them. Vince and Karen

Over all it was ok, first thing having it in a parking garage and the guy directing traffic clearly doesn't know how to read a tape measure or look at something like a vehicle hight and be relatively close that it's under 8 ft my work truck is a two wheel drive Toyota flatbed truck that is lowers almost to the ground without a four foot cage on the back so nothing can blow out, he says you have to park out here and walk down the hill to get in. Ok I can do that. When I get in, the garage my truck would have cleared everything by at least two feet. So unnecessary to walk down the hill then up the stairs and vise versa when I left. I got the test at 11am yesterday and still haven't heard back on the results. But when I go to leave the parking guy had the cones way to close together and in a long bed with no power steering I needed him to move some cones and he was rude and said why didn't you just back out over there that I wouldn't have to move cones. Well kinda hard to back out low visibility and would have hit many cones. So ya not the greatest.

The signage and directions to the testing site were easy to follow. I arrived at the Bellevue College campus at 3:40pm Saturday for my 3:50 appointment. The wait time for the actual test was minimal. It took about 14 minutes from the time I entered the queue to completion of the testing. The staff was efficient, patient and courteous. They provided clear and concise directions and instructions for the testing. Our test administrator guided us through the simple self-swabbing procedure, quick and easy. He said the results would be available in 24-28 hours. The use of the parking garage provided shelter from the elements for both the “patient” and the staff. Overall, it was an efficiently operated testing site.

Other than the address link from your website not taking me to the 148th St entrance of Bellevue College, everything was great. The signage directing to 148th on the backside was easy to miss when you’re concentrating on the GPS directions; and being unfamiliar with the area, after eventually seeing the signs, figuring out how to get to 148th was another obstacle. Maybe have an alert about this on the website? Finding information online about testing sites was easy, as was registration. The wait time was actually less than I expected given the demand. The system in place to process people seemed efficient, and the staff were all friendly and competent. I liked having the option to self-swab with supervision. I had no difficulty with obtaining my result, and it was available within 24 hrs.

I realize the Canadian border opens to those from the USA on Monday which caused higher volumes today however the staff sitting at the Bellevue College facility just before you drive into the parking lot could be doing some WORK instead of just sitting there. Such as funneling people with appointments into one line and those without into a different one. In all the testing I have had done at this facility I have never seen it this busy and it needed some line management. I highly believe that two full lines of cars out the parking lot - those people all had appointments the same time as me. Normally I just drive up or have 1-2 cars in a single line before me. The staff were overworked and tired when I was there at 4:30pm. I had made my appointment a week ago as I knew I was travelling on Tuesday. Thanks for the service you provide!

The first test I received the administrator unwrapped my swab then went back to the tent for some reason with it in his gloved hand. He touched a few things on the table in the tent then came out to give me the swab and instructions. I almost said something but didn’t. My girlfriend had her swab handed to her directly from the package. My results came back “inconclusive”. Hers came back negative and we have been together for days. Makes me wonder if my first tests results were altered by the person’s unsanitary handling of my swab. I went back today and the person handling my test was very professional and followed what seemed to be procedures.

Well, the guy that waited on us was overloaded. He was only person for two lanes..one on each side of tent. He asked if I minded waiting so he could do next person in other line. I said absolutely. After finishing that person he was coming back to me but he told the next person that pulled up on the side he just finished that he was the only tester there and would they mind waiting for him to do me since I was next. That person said no. This poor guy was already busting it and this jerk said no. Even though I told him I would wait again he ran to next tent and ask if someone would come do the jerkoff that couldn’t wait his turn. I felt so bad for this guy. He was literally hustling as fast and safe as he could. He had a great attitude as well.

My wife and I really love the King county free COVID testing centers. This has been hands down one of the best services provided by the county. I hope the county keeps this going and that more people come to know about it and use it. This is how we get rid of the pandemic, with easily available on demand testing and safety measures. Measures. We also really appreciate the extremely low or non-existent wait times as well as the extreme friendliness of all of the staff on each of our visits. We wish King county and the volunteer staff the very best and hope that these centers can be kept open and indeed expanded as shining beacons of great public policy during this time of COVID.

Testing itself was quick and done in a matter of a minute or two. Check in was organized as well. Despite securing an appointment time online, the wait was an hour. No-one is to blame for that but while in line we started to question if we’d joined a wrong line by mistake. The instructions on Solv such as check in at front desk so you can see where you are in line didn’t apply to Bellevue College so they should revise the message to avoid confusion. We called the number provided to question an was told those instructions didn’t apply since Bellevue does’t have a “front desk”. The phone representative was professional and friendly as were the people directing traffic and administering the test. Test itself was easy and quick. You swirl the swab in each nose yourself and you’re done and on your way.

did not love the website telling me I needed to sign up for an appointment (so I did and waited at home all morning until my 1:10 pm appt) - only to find out once there that anyone could just drive up and get a test (I would have gone early in the morning rather than waste two days for test and results).... and there was no priority for those who took the time to sign up online. liked the lower floor location out of the sun but didn't live that the entire staff and visitors were subject to car exhaust for an extended period of time (staff).... they kept the line moving so no one actually turned off their engines even though there was a sign. overall, thank you for the service

I had an excellent experience with a COVID test at Bellevue College. I was impressed with the setup. It’s in a Bellevue College parking garage and what you do and where to go was very clear. There were even people directing along the way. I think I saw 6 collecting stations. We had an appt so I did the “paperwork” ahead of time, but they don’t require an appt and have signs with a QR code for you to register if you’re waiting. When they check you in, they give you a paper with a QR code and that’s how you access the results. No waiting and worrying for an email. Because of the QR code I was able to check results throughout the day. I could see the status changing as the sample was being processed. It was nice to see the test making progress. We got our (negative) result in less than 24 hours.

I brought my 10 year old child for a covid test. She has sensory issues so I was very nervous. The staff member who did the test was very careful and kind. She told my child what she needed to do for the test before she did it, asked my child if she was ready, and was very careful when doing the test. Considering the staff member needed to swirl inside my child’s nose, I thought for sure this would be a difficult experience for my sensory kid, but the provider did a fantastic job putting my child at ease and my child told me “that wasn’t too bad… and that lady was nice.” Definitely recommend doing your test here if you can.

The process was clear and relatively quick. It felt safe and clean. It was well staffed and the staff were professional and efficient. It is helpful that it is drive up without an appointment - that way we can get tested as soon as any concern arises. It is wonderful that it is free so there is no financial consideration holding people back from testing. I feel bad the staff have to work around the car fumes of an indoor parking garage but it is helpful the garage is open and the signs reminding cars to turn off their motors are helpful. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE that helps support the testing. I appreciate that you are doing important work to help protect our community and work to get ahead of the covid virus. So many THANKS !!!

Wow! I had decided to get tested for covid because I had cold symptoms but wasn't sure about a fever. I headed to the Bellevue College drive up site for testing. I did not have an appointment and got there 15 minutes before close. The area wasn't very occupied when I got there, though there were several cars ahead of me. By the time I got to the front of the line the entire area behind me was filled with cars queuing for the test site. I exited the test area @ 5:30pm and by 10:15am the next morning I got my test results back. What a fast turnaround. Staff was awesome and the whole procedure from start to finish was easier than I thought it would be.

This is my favorite Covid testing site! I’ve used both Bellevue and Renton. Renton is good too, but Bellevue is the best. I have had to be tested multiple times for travel and they have always done a great job. Today I drove up and was in and out in less than 10 minutes, which is a new record. The wait would have been MUCH shorter if I would have paid attention and gotten into the correct line. I realized after I pulled up that he wanted me to go into the next line over. All good and no complaints! Please keep this site up as long as possible. My favorite vax site closed (King County Vaccination Partnership at Microsoft in Redmond).

Bellevue Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
