I was a walk in because there were no, available openings. At first I was told it would be 2hrs before I would be seen. I replied that I would be staying because it was a laceration and I needed care. They took me back right away and started cleaning my wound. I definitely would recommend this provider.

It was easy to schedule online, and when I went to the counter to confirm, they had my data. While there were quite a few people before me in line, the wait time was within 5 min of what staff said it would be. All staff were curteous and knowledgeable and I felt heard and cared for. I would very much recommend.

My boys had been complaining that their throats were hurting and I was able to call and book online appointments for both of them the online check-in was very easy to maneuver through, and I booked both of them back to back, when we came in we were greeted right away and our total wait time was maybe 5 minutes, and we were taking back to the room and both boys were checked out in less than 30 minutes, the nurse on hand was awesome she did a great job relating to the boys and explaining what was going on in simple terms, we like the ease of scheduling and the quickness it took for these appointments if anything ever happens in the future will definitely come back before we make appointments with our voices primary care physicians. Thanks for all the staff assistance and the nurse who checked the boys out. It was a great experience!

About Prostate Screening (PSA) Testing

Overview

Prostate Screening (PSA) Testing is a blood test used to measure the level of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in the blood. PSA is a protein produced by the prostate gland, and elevated PSA levels may indicate prostate conditions, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate cancer. PSA Testing is essential for early detection, diagnosis, and monitoring of prostate-related issues, helping healthcare providers assess prostate health and determine the appropriate course of action.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Airway Heights, Washington, and are a male aged 50 or older, or if you have a family history of prostate cancer, Prostate Screening (PSA) Testing is recommended. For individuals at higher risk, such as African American men or those with a family history of early-onset prostate cancer, testing may begin at age 45.

Interpreting the Results

The interpretation of Prostate Screening (PSA) Testing results is based on the level of PSA in the blood. Elevated PSA levels may indicate prostate enlargement or the presence of prostate cancer. However, further evaluation, including a prostate biopsy, is necessary to confirm a cancer diagnosis.

  • Early detection of prostate conditions, including prostate cancer
  • Monitoring prostate health in individuals at risk of prostate issues
  • Guiding appropriate diagnostic procedures, such as a prostate biopsy
  • Initiating timely treatment for prostate cancer, if detected

Following the Test

After Prostate Screening (PSA) Testing, healthcare providers review the results with individuals and offer recommendations based on the findings.
