I had a uti.  I scheduled an appointment on my phone.  I uploaded my insurance card and my id with ease.  I forgot to fill out the paperwork on my lunch break so filled it out in the parking lot at AFC.  I checked in when I got there and my wait time was little to none.  I was in and out in less than an hour.  I was so impressed.  Thank you for the positive changes you guys have made.  The my nurse and CNA were very friendly and they seemed to care about my health.  This is another plus.  Again thank you!!!😊

Overview of STD Testing in Millbrook

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing, especially those with multiple sexual partners or those who do not consistently use protection during sexual activity. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs, including young people aged 15-24, men who have sex with men, and individuals with a history of previous STDs. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested as STDs can have serious health implications for both the mother and baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a crucial part of maintaining your overall health. Many STDs often show no symptoms, making regular testing the only sure way to know your status. Early detection can help prevent serious health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Moreover, knowing your status can also help protect your sexual partners from potential exposure.
