Brita and Caroline the PA were amazing! They were very efficient. I love how clean the facility was. I would recommend these two ladies and your urgent care to anyone. I work in the medical field and I was very impressed. The only thing I would recommend would be wheel chair accessible doors. There should be a push button for entrance and exit. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10

Overview of STD Testing in Sterling Heights

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the CDC, sexually active individuals, particularly those with multiple partners, should regularly get tested for STDs. This includes individuals who are sexually active and between the ages of 25-40, which is a demographic that is particularly susceptible to STDs. Furthermore, individuals who have had unprotected sex, shared injection drug equipment, or have been diagnosed with another STD should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning that individuals can unknowingly transmit the infection to their partners. Secondly, untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Lastly, getting tested allows for early detection and treatment, which can significantly reduce the risk of complications.
