The room number 4 smelled like wet dogs. The doctor has very less experience, she doesn’t have to know everything but she needed to google more before to meet with patients. The front desk woman was nice when we checked in and out.

Have a physician 3 in the office and not one could see me in weeks time. Pitiful. I was out of town, flying back in late Friday. My daughter got on and had me an appointment immediately. Saturday morning I was at your clinic pronto. Soar throat, ears, hurting, feeling like crap. You were all wonderful, professional, and quick. With the prescriptions I got by evening I felt like a new person. I'm sorry I didn't get your names but you were great! Merry Christmas and Happy new year to you all.

Overview of STD Testing in Wixom

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or do not consistently use protection. This is particularly important for individuals between the ages of 15 and 24, who account for half of all new STD cases, according to the CDC. In addition, pregnant women, men who have sex with men, and those with HIV should also get tested regularly due to higher risk factors.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining good sexual health. Many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they do not show any symptoms. Without testing, these diseases can go unnoticed and untreated, leading to serious health complications such as infertility, ectopic pregnancy, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications.
