I have never had anything but good experiences here at Mercy. This one time, this last time I wish I was listened to a little more in my request for antibiotics to nip what I had brewing. I do understand antibiotics are not needed in every situation, I also know my body. I was seen on Weds. On Thursday with no where to turn is suffered through spells of not being able to breath, coughing nonstop, painful lungs. Friday I had to seek an urgent care in Wake Forest: antibiotics, steroids (injectable, oral and inhaler), nebulizer treatment. Even though it probably could have been avoided (but whose to say, maybe not) I will certainly be back to Mercy, I know they only had my best interest in mind. I absolutely refuse hospitals, and you will never find me at the black mountain urgent care. I do have a primary care provider but sometimes they just do not have the time and resources. You guys are awesome!

The nurse practitioner who saw me had also seen me on a prior medical issue. And, just like that one, she got this one right. I was starting to feel better after just a few hours of taking the prescribed antibiotics and taking a long nap. Woke up this morning feeling a ton better.

The reason for me coming to urgent care was due to a spider bite that was beginning to bother and concern me. Check in was quite efficient and the forms that I needed to fill out were short and simple to deal with. My wait time before being seen there's only a few minutes and I found the staff to be friendly efficient and quite courteous. Once I had been taking back I was not left alone for very long at any point and I found the staff quite attentive and direct to the point. My exam was done with attention to detail and took into consideration the pain I was in. They had no problem with working with my Pharmacy and giving me a prescription to resolve my issue. I believe my total visit was only a little more than 30 minutes. In case of need I would definitely return. I would certainly recommend this Urgent Care for anyone in need of quality attention

I came in with what I thought was a UTI. I had already filled out my forms on line so when I arrived all that was necessary was to prove my identity and insurance info. It was a very easy and straightforward process. The woman at the front desk was very nice. I next met Celina who took me back for vitals and a urine test. Again, very nice and capable. Finally I met Katie who performed the test and rendered the results. She was just great, very knowledgeable. The whole experience was A+ and I was in and out in about 45 minutes. I would definitely recommend Mercy Urgent Care.
