I recently moved to Wappingers and have been sick twice. Both of my visits to the HealthQuest Urgent Care were excellent. The receptionist was friendly and the exam was prompt and thorough. The care was much better than other urgent cares I have visited. Thank you!

I went to get a covid test today. I was warmly greeted by receptionist who gave me instructions and I was called in and greeted by technician who was very nice and thorough. I waited for results and then seen by a physician. He checked my glands and throat. He was very nice and gave me some suggestions to help my sore throat. In all it was a very comforting experience and I would highly recommend the staff at 100 Mill Plain Rd. Thank you all! Ann Peters

Overview of STD Testing in Beacon

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, particularly those with multiple partners or those who do not consistently use protection during sexual activity. It's also important for individuals who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia to get tested, as these behaviors can increase the risk of certain STDs.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for both individual health and the health of the broader community. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they present no symptoms, and can therefore be unknowingly transmitted to others. Untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications.
