Had a cough that was getting worst with phelm. Scheduled an appointment on line which was easy. My appointment was for 1:15 and once there the check in was fast. Paid my copay and sat down. My wait was a little longer than I though because another person came after me and was called before me? Doctors visit was to the point checking my lungs and throat. She sent a prescription to my pharmacist who said the ingredients were the same as over the counter brands, Why? The only Rx added was antibiotic pills. Place was clean.

Overview of STD Testing in Woodbury

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), regardless of age, gender, or sexual orientation. This is especially important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are not consistently using protection during sexual activity, or have symptoms of an STD. According to the CDC, certain groups such as young people aged 15-24 and men who have sex with men are particularly at risk and should get tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a crucial part of maintaining overall health. Many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning they can go unnoticed and untreated, leading to serious health complications such as infertility, certain cancers, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications and helping to prevent the spread of STDs to others.
