Overview of STD Testing in West Carrollton

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), especially those with multiple partners or those who don't regularly use protection. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk, including sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV. Regular testing is crucial in these high-risk groups.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is vital for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they don't show symptoms, making it possible to have an STD and not know it.
