I needed my son to be seen urgently without the wait time of an emergency room. I went online and was able to book an appointment within the hour. When we arrived the front staff was so nice and the care team was so attentive they even started care in the lobby. They listened to my concerns and did everything to make sure my son was taken care of. They also answered all of my questions so thoroughly and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend Nitehawk. I have had to take my daughter a couple of times and I gladly travel the hour to continue to use them. Thank you all for being so gracious and patient.

Overview of STD Testing in Princeton

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing as part of their overall health routine. This is especially true for those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or have symptoms of an STD. According to the CDC, certain populations are at higher risk and should be tested more frequently, such as men who have sex with men, individuals with HIV, and those who have been forced to have intercourse or engage in sexual activity against their will.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for both personal health and the health of sexual partners. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms, but can still be transmitted to others. If left untreated, STDs can lead to serious health complications such as infertility, organ damage, certain types of cancer, and in some cases, can be fatal. Early detection through testing allows for prompt treatment which can significantly reduce these risks.
