I cant' say enough good things about this place. Needed to get in quickly as I am due to leave the county tomorrow for two weeks. I'd never been here before but they were showing same day appointments so I thought I'd give it a go. Very easy and slick, modern sign-up experience via mobile (far superior to legacy providers). Got an appointment for an less than an hour after I signed up. At the place, both the receptionist and the PA-C (Kayla) who saw me were super-friendly and extremely helpful. The facility is modern and clean. The exam was thorough and all my questions were answered. The procedures were very well explained, as were the costs (very transparent - first provider I've been to who could easily and quickly tell me my out of pocket costs based on my insurance). They even had the medication I needed right there in stock at a reasonable price so I didn't need to stop at the pharmacy. This is the best kept secret in Woodinville for healthcare right now. They didn't seem busy at all, which I hope is not a sign they aren't doing well. Give them a try!

Overview of STD Testing in Shoreline

Who should get tested for STDs?

Everyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, particularly those with multiple partners or those who engage in unprotected sex. According to the CDC, specific demographics such as young adults and men who have sex with men are at a higher risk. Pregnant women should also get tested as STDs can have serious health implications for both the mother and baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining good sexual health. Many STDs are asymptomatic in their early stages, meaning you could be infected and unknowingly spreading the disease. Early detection through testing allows for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of severe health complications. It also helps prevent the spread of these diseases within the community.
