I recently had a disappointing experience at Next Care Urgent Care that I feel compelled to share. Upon arrival, the check-in process was marred by the attitude of the front office staff. Their rudeness was palpable and made an already stressful situation even more uncomfortable. Instead of providing a welcoming atmosphere, their dismissive behavior left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. It's unfortunate that the first point of contact at the facility was so negative, overshadowing the rest of our visit. I hope management addresses this issue, as customer service is crucial in a healthcare setting.

My appointment was at 2:15, but didn’t see the doctor until 3:15. The nurse was very good. Good information and she listened.

Friendly helpful staff. No long wait. And easy resolution to my problem.

It was fast and Monique was friendly and gentle with our sleeping baby. If I need further testing I'd go back to the highlands afc urgent clinic

2 hour waiting time is unacceptable regardless of short staffed providers.

Exceptional Medical Care by Armando and the American Family Care Urgent Care Team I am writing this review with great pleasure to express my heartfelt appreciation to the team at American Family Care Urgent Care, and especially to Armando, for the outstanding medical care they provided to my mother during her visit to the urgent care unit. Armando demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and empathy throughout the process. His skill in using the EKG machine and drawing blood was notable, performing both procedures with such precision and care that my mother felt entirely at ease and secure throughout the process. His ability to communicate clearly and explain each step of the procedure, his patience, and his dedication to my mother's comfort were truly impressive. In addition, I'd like to highlight the overall care we received at the urgent care unit. The team was efficient, compassionate, and highly professional. We felt supported and cared for throughout our stay, which is testament to the culture of excellence they have cultivated at the clinic. I wish to thank Armando and the entire team at American Family Care Urgent Care for their commitment to high-quality healthcare and for their dedication to patients' comfort and wellbeing. It's rare to find a team so dedicated and passionate about their work. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking quality urgent care. I've visited this facility twice this week, as well as several times previously.  I was very sick this week & turns out I had influenza A&B!  Was put on meds & all symptoms except cough abated within 2 days.  Cough continued to get worse..& by Friday I had pneumonia!  They sent me directly to ER after doing a breathing treatment because I was so short of breath.  The people who work at this facility are very kind, caring, professional & I've never had to wait very long.  Would definitely recommend!

Lexi was AMAZING! SUCH A KIND and sweet soul! She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I had a really bad experience at the AFC on Colfax (stay away from there). I called her and she told me to come right in! This is the service one would expect at a medical facility. Thank you so much for helping me get my Covid test quickly! I so appreciate your kindness, it really helped turn my day around! Thank you!!!!

Dr. Kenneth Farrell saw my for a lingering cough. He said he was prescribing a steroid for the cough, and when I asked if I could have cough medicine he said he would give promethazine. When I went to pick up my prescription, there was no steroid. Also, his bedside manner was off-putting.

We so appreciated the quick care and wonderful staff! Hopefully we won’t need you when we come back.

I’m not sure if something changed about this office but I have been there several times before. Last night was by far the longest I’ve had to wait (and there weren’t many people in the waiting room), the check in took a while even though I’ve been there before and have given my information before (and last time my check in was basically instantaneous but this time I had to enter everything) and when I got in my wait in the inner room was long. The room was the least clean I’d been in (which I noticed while sitting there staring at the ground and furniture for the long time I was waiting). The people, as always, were kind but the overall experience was much less pleasant than it has been in my several previous visits with either me or my children.
