Scheduling was super easy, I arrived a few minutes before the appointment time, but check in seemed to take forever. There were 2 people in front of us and it took over 15 minutes. The appointment itself was fairly quick. When I went to pick up a prescription I had to call the office back because the dose didn’t get sent over to the pharmacy.  Overall I would definitely go back

I woke up this AM with UTI sx. My insurance sent me to Tran Urgent Care. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of scheduling, the care, and the prompt care as well. I would like to see an improved patient portal experience. The provider and staff were kind and knowledgeable.

Very easy to schedule appt for a same day. Was surprised by the fact that they are paperless and in order to view anything you have to download their app. It’s been 2 days and still no results, as for the medication you have to go on the appt and send it your self to the pharmacy otherwise you will not get it. Overall it was a good visit but it could have improved on some things for sure.

Everyone was fantastic. All the children's urgent cares were full so we took my son in for a persistent fever on advice of our pediatrician. We were in and out in 20 minutes and felt like we got excellent care.

check in is always nice and quick and immediate which is what we appreciate the most. The nurse that greeted us and got us started was very friendly and welcoming.  The provider named Miguel is not very personable and asked us what’s our goal to be there.. that question threw us off a little. He treated us like a business and it was just here ok here is your prescription have a good day.  I’ve seen him in the past and felt uncomfortable that I didn’t move forward with any suggestions he provided in the past. Appreciate that he gave me and my son prescriptions but he didn’t really explain to me what was going on with me but did with my son. Wished he didn’t treat us like a transaction he tried to complete.  No, I do not recommend this provider.

I had my annual physical this morning.  It’s not something I look forward to but I have to say Sarah Phillips and her team were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.  I left the clinic feeling that they had delivered an excellent heathcare experience.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Very quick and comfortable to visit for swift testing. One thing amazing is the fact that I don't have a stick shoved to the back of my nostrils. Now it's just swabbing 10 circles each nose hole(just the white qtip part) and you're done. The staff aren't gloomy and they have excellent communication with patients. They're warm and welcoming! Based on my visit was overall, I give them a zillion stars🤩

I had just a short reo-minute wait before being checked in. The person helping me offer two forms of registration by either scanning a QCR code or helping me register on her iPad. All employees were very friendly and professional and the test was done very quickly. So fortunate to have such a great resource from the county.

This was well organized, quick and easy. I scheduled online and received all the reminders. There was no charge for the test. I did not have a wait even though I arrived about ten minutes before my scheduled appointment. I would definitely recommend this testing site. The check in process was super easy and quick. The staff was very friendly.

My first time getting COVID tested through UW Medicine and Solv at the Kent/Des Moines test site. Super easy and efficient. I registered and filled out paperwork online to expedite the process. All three workers were friendly and competent. Wait time was about 5 minutes. I used my insurance but believe the testing is free regardless. I will return for future testing through Solv.

There for covid testing. Filled out paperwork ahead of time. Great service, no wait line. Instructions on how to perform the test w the swab could have been better. The staff that instructed my husband was much more thorough. I hope it does not negatively impact the validity of my results. We drove from so of olympia to Kent due to no available openings for testing any closer. Thank you for all you are doing to help our communities. You guys are awesome.

My daughters are traumatized with the Covid test and then knowing what is coming can make getting them tested a horrible experience but aside from explaining that the test is different they didn’t put the swab all the way up like other places and they left staying that they want to always get tested there if we need to do it again. Thank you!

- Verified patient on 11/24

Fast, plenty of staff to make things go as easily as possible. Even on breaks I saw a worker (keeping their distance) helping a bus rider try to find the right bus, the bus stop was right next to the testing station and the elderly, bus rider woman wandered into the testing outer vicinity. Your employee was a great help to her, they got her out of the area. The employee redirected her in a wonderfully helpful way.

Im not happy today because one of your employee is not respectful because she hit my nose hard before she start it i told her not to do so deep it gone bleed yet she didnt listen to me when she finish my nose its bleed its very painful and i told her my nose is very sensitive and i asked her to redo it she said no i said why not she didnt answer me i call the lead and tell what happened it will be possible to kick her out in the front line that no good to have that kind of employee i hope you understand my situation thanks a lot i dont want to be happened again i always negative ever since we have a covid test

From the check to the testing, all the staff were great. The check in was the fastest and the guy that checked us in did it quick and he did Myself and 3 children. That's was the quickest. I recommended my whole family to go to the Highline college site in Des Moines as well. Great job and keep it up. Stay safe 😘😘😘😘😘😘.

It was way better then expected. No waiting. Every person I dealt with was super efficient and friendly. The person who tested me was very compassionate. I have to say this by far was the best experience I have had considering the circumstance. Keep up the good work. Excellent customer service all around....thanks!

It was so easy. The gentleman explained to me how to sign up. I’ve been vaccinated and so was my father. After being in ICU for over a month with Covid. I wanted to make sure that neither my son and I were carriers. He has had a sore throat and hadn’t been feeling well. It was so convenient to not have to go out of our way to get free testing. Although we both have insurance and I was more than happy to share that information with your clinic. Thank you , much appreciated. Sincerely Kim Wagor

I showed up on time for my appointment, I was greeted by a very professional lady to check in which took only a few seconds and was then directed to the actual testing site. I walked in and was asked a couple of questions and then was seated and swabbed. All very professional and quick. Total time in and out was about 5 to 10 minutes.

- Verified patient on 4/28

The process itself was easy. The staff were very helpful as it was for my son and he would let me put him down. Super accommodating. I got the text though for my results saying they were ready and two days later the test is still reading pending. Why and how would the text come through if the test results aren’t complete? So a little frustrated there since I need clearance for school on Monday.

Convenient site with lots of parking. I registered and made an appointment ahead of time and waited in the same line as those without. I don't know the point in making the appointment. The wait wasn't long at 9:30 am but it would be nice to have a separate line. This is not a drive-thru testing site, you need to park and walk over to the tent. The trash can to deposit used tissue was next to wear I sat to get swabbed.

- Verified patient on 2/16

It was early in the day so guessing line up will grow but the line was well managed when we arrived. There was someone monitoring parking. The staff was still accepting walk ups and the administration of the test itself was super quick (quicker than other locations we have been). Thankful to staff for working on Christmas Eve day!

- Verified patient on 12/24

Walked up to the tent, lady took my information quickly and accurately. Went inside given quick detail on what’s going to happen for the test and Then explained how i was able to obtain my results online and other methods. Then moved to the testing area the lady was quite nice and promptly explained what she would be doing and it took no longer then 30 seconds and I was shown the exit and I was done. Super easy and recommend everyone to get there test here.

I love to come here for COVID testing and introduced my whole family come to test. Everybody like this place so much. You don’t have to wait , big parking and the staff were very nice and respectful. You don’t need to register, they can help you out quickly. Thank you so much for helping us with great heart during the pandemic.

- Verified patient on 3/30

I was greeted by a friendly person who quickly checked me in. I waited less than 5 minutes before going in to the testing area. The nasal swab itself was completed professionally and gently. I had been worried about the swab being painful and uncomfortable and this was not the case. The staff were quick, efficient and very pleasant! I would highly recommend this site to friends for testing.

- Verified patient on 1/7

No complaints. I was a walk in I was able to get tested straight away & was in & out within 10 minutes or so. Got my test results the very next morning. What ever the results it’s good to know for family, friends & your own sake to keep one selves safe & to get help if needed. It was good to know that the test results came back Negative. Yeah

- Verified patient on 9/9

The tech that was giving the test was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. Just wish the in and out of the station wasn’t the same walk way. I had to ask the next person at my station to move so I could leave once my test was complete. Also need clearer signs of where to enter. One that can be seen from when you enter the parking lot. There are many confused drivers in the parking lot which created hazards for the pediatricians.

Des Moines Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it.
