I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Everything was great! No phone number on the out side to call for covid test that my doctor told me to get so had to go inside and wait in line and my test results came back today as possitive.. if someone has all ready had a do appointment on Zoom why should you go inside and risk everyone else getting it? And I was seen by another doctor just to get the test.. everything else was fine and fast and friendly... also I tried to call and get a copy of my results for my job and no one has called me back and I need them please😊

Very pleased. They scheduled me the same week. I was able to be tested, treated and seen by a Doctor. The 2 nice Nurses were sanitizing the whole time. Was paying $350 a visit with T3. This visit with Patients Choice was $180 and they take cash.

Staff is usually always wonderful, BUT this particular visit, we saw Ben, APRN. His bedside manner and demeanor was horrible once he knew my daughter had not yet had the Covid vaccine. The whole visit became about Covid and how she most likely has it. I truly felt she most likely had a sinus infection or a damn head cold - my main concern was if she could travel on a plane the next day. I worry about ear drums. He did not even look in her nose. Briefly looked in her ears and throat. Offered a written antibiotics but stated he didn’t feel it was necessary and again pushed Covid testing. I said can you get me results today so I can leave town tomorrow, and he said no, results take a few days. I am a Renown employee and am well educated on Covid and to be treated with such disregard by a physician was truly disappointing. Not everyone has Covid!!! Yes people who are and are not vaccinated can still get Covid but we can all still get just a damn head cold. I feel like my daughters visit was a waste of time and her care was less than acceptable! Truly disappointed in this physician and he does not represent “we care” very well for Renown. And for the record, I did take her home and give her 2 Covid tests - BOTH WERE NEGATIVE!

They had a downtime system wide which made them go to pen and paper. It was definitely a longer wait because of this but I also understood an IT issue is out of there control. Front desk and solv system kept me updated on my status. Joseph (PA) was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Appreciated him seeing me. Got my covid and flu test done and was in and out super fast!

Arrow on her examination of my daughter and seems to think it was a kidney stone hopefully it's not but she was very a thorough set Stephanie for a CT scan and tested her urine overall I would recommend renowned and friendly anytime all the doctors there that I have ever experienced has been excellent keep up the good work

The care was great! Co-pay was reasonable. I was accepted quickly as a walk-in. I would recommend it to anyone who hates waiting in a waiting room. I love seeing where I am in the waiting queue. But — MyChart is awful. Zero stars. Would not recommend. Even though I had access earlier, I no longer have access, and I can’t create an account because it is having technical issues. I want to know my test results, and I’m not sure how to get them now.

I scheduled an appointment the same day to get a COVID test for my son. Everything was very easy. Once we arrived, we were greeted and checked in by friendly office staff. Waited in our car for a few minutes then was called to come in. We were then greeted by the nicest nurse practitioner (unfortunately I can’t remember her name!) who took my sons vitals, collected symptom info. and administered the nasal swab test. She finished with us and said that the doctor will be right in to talk to my son and further evaluate him (check, ears, eyes, throat, lungs, etc.) Within a few minutes, AJ, the doctor, came in and was just great! My 15-year old son said he was “cool”. His bedside manner was the best I’ve seen in a long time. He was very knowledgeable and informative. I would highly recommend this urgent care facility to everyone I know!

I went for a COVID test and the ladies who came out to see me (not sure who they were nurses, PA, were all very sweet. I felt bad because it was raining and I offered to go sit on their chairs on the walkway so they wouldn’t have to stand in the rain, but they declined. I appreciated them very much!

Our experience at the Damonte Ranch renown urgent care was exceptional, the bedside manner, the willingness to expedite solutions immediately, the efforts of testing and the comprehensive understanding of the medical staff was absolutely unparalleled. The wait time was minimal, because the check in process was extremely convenient and we were able to use our insurance.

Went for COVID test. Am from out of town. Was able to schedule for the same day, though had to have a quick check over by physician since I am not a member of Renown. Everyone was so cordial, concerned and professional. If I am ever in need of medical attention when I am in Reno again, I will certainly use Renown

We did curbside for a Covid test, we had to wait an hour or 2. Have to be patient in these times, all of the staff were great, attentive and professional! Waiting for the test results and got prescriptions to aid my breathing! So glad we can keep people out of ER and hospital! To All Health Care workers, Thank you!

After a visit to Renown ER with no answer on my sick son and finding out the the ER didn’t run the test they said they did, I decided to take him to the vista urgent care as he wasn’t getting and better and couldn’t hold fluids down. The staff was extremely nice and the doctor was awesome. She looked at his throat and decided to repeat the strep test the Er had done three days prior and this time when swabbed right it was positive. The doctor called in his meds and sent us home. Vista urgent care is awesome and I will be going back anytime it may be needed

The visit went fine but here I am 6 days later and have yet to hear from the dr what is wrong with me. I got tested for COVID and that’s not what I went in for and was told I was negative and I have a virus. Totally un professional and am not happy I’m on my own to conquer this on my own..

We signed up for an appointment. Got to the site 10 min prior to the 8:15am appointment. There was a line of at least 10 cars ahead of us. Two patients walked in and tested ahead of us at the covered tent. We were tested about 1hr after our appointment. The person who tested us was good. We were told the results will be out in under 1hr. Having not received after an hour, I had to call. The answering service was good, knew the procedure, got our results in less than 5 minutes then called back to ensure we received the results. For a pay service, it’s the least expensive option available.

Thank you to Jean Adamski and her MA. They did a wonderful job taking care of me today. The MA and radiologist were very attentive and walked me through in detail the testing they were doing. Everyone was very friendly including the lady who greeted me and the PAR who checked me in. I would recommend reevaluating the seating in the waiting room. I do not feel like they have optimized the available space. It felt like the seating was really congested and confine to one small area.

Doctor was very thorough! Everyone was kind and courteous and professional. Extra thank you to Elaine Strong for being EXTREMELY careful and gentle with ALL my testing (covid, flu, strep, cultures, and mono). She made it comfortable and easy. Everyone was amazing. Especially at their end of shift!

I needed a Covid test. I didn't want to wait any longer than necessary to get one so I signed up as a walk-in. My wait time was about an hour. It was totally worth the wait. I was tested and I was relieved. I'll get results in 48-72 hours. Thank you for very good service.

The girl that checks you in and does the blood pressure in the weight acts like she's a doctor and wants to tell you what you're doing wrong she's not a doctor she should just take vitals and give the information to the doctor that we give her. Everybody else was wonderful from the check-in desk to the doctor to the gal that came in and did wound dressing and schedule the test

I saw Lindsey Hall, very nice, and was interested and listened to me telling her about why I wasn't feeling well. I'm older and having some health issues, I haven't had before. She did some tests, also, I need to follow up with a complete bloodwork panel, soon.

Pahrump Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
