Woke up with symptoms of Strep Throat, something I’ve suffered from a lot ever since I was a kid. Scheduling was easy. Wait time was practically non-existent. Nurse was very nice and patient as I struggled to speak with a swollen throat. Doctor was with me quickly. Very friendly and nice. Nurse did my swab for quick testing. My test came back negative, but they prescribed me medications anyways. I asked if they could run a lab on my swab, because my swab test for Strep has always come back negative ever since I was a child. Doctor refused to do so and said they were treating it like Tonsillitis instead. Sent me on my way without asking if I needed a doctor’s note; had to reenter the building to get my doctor’s note written for my two jobs. Doctor prescribed antibiotics, but also prescribed me cough drops for throat pain. Cough drops aren’t meant for throat pain, and I’m not coughing.

Short Wait Time

My entire experience was great, from the moment I walked in the door, to me leaving after my visit. Everyone I came in contact with was polite, caring, and actually listened to me. It's hard to find a decent urgent care, and even though Apex is 25 minutes from my house, I highly recommend them and will come back in the future, if needed. Thank you, Apex team! You all are appreciated :)

I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

They were so nice to accommodate me to get a Covid test when other places were completely booked for several days. Shannon was great, along with the person that administered the test and also the front desk person.

Unfortunately, I had to go to 3 different facilities before I got my Covid test since the first facility doesn't do the test anymore. They gave me a list of places that do test, but didn't tell me that I had to have an appointment which the second place didn't have any appointments available, but they were nice enough to look and find me an appointment at the third facility. I spent a total of 3 1/2 hours getting my test. What a day.

In my opinion, two things that need to be improved are: 1.) The paperwork I was given to take home regarding the tests and how to get results ran off the page on the right margin so many of the words were missing, and 2.) I filled out the forms online and had to do it again at the site because the staff was not able to read the online effort. I was totally impressed and satisfied with the staff and the testing protocol. This was my sixth test and this experience was one of the best.

This was my second Covid test for pre-surgery and this one was by far the best one yet! My last, which was at a different facility, was a rough one! They made my nose bleed! The nurse preforming this one however, was very good and wasn’t painful at all! Great job!

I arrived ten minutes early, called the telephone number on their sign and left a message. At 9:01am an employee came to car ask I complete a form, she returned took the form, returned with testing kit and completed the test. As I left the parking area the time was 9:14am. Great job!

I think I was the very first person to sign up for testing at this location, because this was the first day it was available. The signs directing you where to park, and which give the phone number, are not visible when you drive in (they are on the opposite side of the vehicle as you are trying to turn). So you don't know to park there. Then after the front desk person called back and we figured it out, and then I re-parked and called, they then directed me to go around to the back and park by the island with the rocks. There are 3 islands with rocks. I took a guess but don't know if I was supposed to park by one closer to the building. So please improve the signage and be more clear about where to go in the back.

Did not enter facility. Came for covid test. Waited only seconds before I was approached at window. Was finished within 5 minutes. Really great time and employee!

I didn’t go inside, so I can’t rate the facility. Staff was very friendly, came to my car to do the test, then I was on my way. Very quick!

I had a drive-up Covid test (my first one) & it was a very positive experience. I was early, they tested me early after a very minimal wait & my health care professional was extremely pleasant & kind. The location was difficult to find in that DAYTON Mall hodgepodge area. The super white building was foreboding & unattractive.

I did not have any wait time when I arrived for my testing, The nurse explained the Covid testing. She was very professional and kind and answered my questions. I highly recommend your medical facility.

The young lady who gave me the test was very nice, and did everything she said she would. I was nervous, but she told me what to do, and made me feel very comfortable! I even sneezed after she told me I would! I get ALL of my blood work done at the Compunet in Kettering by Fraze Pavilion!

Nurse came out to our car within 1 minute, she processed paperwork, administered COVID test and we were finished completely done within 10 minutes. Very professional, very convenient, and staff was very accommodating.

Carla was very wonderful. Her bedside manner and friendliness and professionalism was superb. And the test of the three I’ve gotten was the most painless and easy yet. She is very skilled!

Hailey was awesome, thoughtful, and considerate. She was extremely professional and made the experience less intimidating. I think Premier Health could invest in some big thick jackets for their staff that has to go to the cars and do the tests if they have not already done so.

I had the drive up Covid test and before I could read the sign that said to call the person was coming out the door to greet me. I had my paperwork filled out and handed to her and within 5 minutes they were back to swab my nose. This was my first test and she explained everything and put me at ease. It was a very efficient system. Great job!!!

Miamisburg Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
