I'm a military veteran and I don't usually visit a urgent care facility. But with a week long problem with my ear infection l had to make an appointment. Your reception person needs to be replaced her attitude is not good to your customers. The doctor was great. Not sure about another visit.

Although my total time at AFC was 2 hours, and much longer than it normally is, I feel like it was an adequate amount of time during lunch hour (peak time when people go). Once I was back in the room, my wait time wasn’t long, or at least it didn’t feel that way.  The NP I saw was lovely but I felt a little frustrated that she didn’t state a diagnosis out loud and it wasn’t until I was on my way out the door when I realized that I was only diagnosed with seasonal allergies. I would have disagreed with this and asked for antibiotics because I can tell this ain’t regular allergies (they have not ever caused this level of discomfort) and it likely a bacterial or sinus infection. This will likely prolong my healing unfortunately.  I was pretty displeased that the MCA/tech who did my steroid injection did so in a manner that seems he was very nervous or it was one of the first times. The needle went in the first time pretty slowly, which made me jump, he pulled the needle back out and used the same needle to then push into my skin again. I’m not thrilled that this happened because it should have been a different needle and there is a far quicker and better way of performing injections (such as dart-like motion which gives more control). I ask that you all do a retraining of performing injections if a nurse, NP, or physician is not the ones to do the injections. Outside of these two negative parts of my review, everything was lovely as usual and I will still come back because everyone here is very friendly and the office is very clean

Came in the day after Thanksgiving to the Montclair location due to abdominal pain, nausea, and dizziness. I did not have to wait long. The staff was very time proficient, professional and polite. They all had a very friendly demeanor. I was taken care of by Ra’Shun. Towards the end of my visit I broke down due to stress and dealing with a careless, unprofessional boss who care nothing for me, my provider took the time to encourage me and I appreciate her for that. She saw after me for my health needs and was my encouragement at the time I needed it.

Friendly staff, wait times were appropriate for being called back and for the tests they ran.  Overall great experience.

I am very thankful for the staff at American Family Care. Everyone was so attentive to my needs .Shelia checked and listened to what was going on with me . And called my medication.  Thank you all again

I suffered an acute injury to my left leg just walking to my car.0-100 pain scale with zero weight bearing.Physician’s care was one traffic light from my job. I pulled up motioned for help,brief explanation given and I was assisted inside per wheelchair,signed in within ten minutes my vital signs were taken and the physician entered within 15 minutes.I was at easy despite the discomfort,I was treated knee braced and wheeled to my car.I had my second worst and best experience and it could not have happened at a better place. Bad with names good with faces !!!! You were the BEST. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Immediately tested me for flu & covid. When those came back negative they did no further exam and just sent me on my way. I am extremely sick with a horrible cough and they did not even listen to my breathing. Talked to Dr for not even 60 seconds. The whole point of making a Dr appointment is to be diagnosed and treated. If all that was going to be done is a Covid & flu test I would have never made the appointment in the first place. All I got prescribed was Alleve and a mild cough syrup. I usually Try to stay away from AFC but this was the only open clinic on a Sunday morning. Will not be back, I get better care elsewhere

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at American Family Care - The Grove. I was not feeling well the day after Thanksgiving and expected to not only be faced with a long wait but with average service given the holiday. I have never been to an American Care where I felt truly cared for and felt as though the staff and provider truly were concerned for my health and well-being. It was a great experience to be cared for

Walked into clinic and was able to get seen by a PA within a reasonable time. Check in was cumbersome for me to navigate but i did it. However I think it would be a problem for elderly people handling a computer.

I walked in without an appointment regarding a possible ear infection. Within a half hour I was on my way to pick up prescriptions. The staff was friendly and the care was excellent. If u need medical care again I will be back and I will recommend the facility to my friends.

Scheduling was easy online. Checking at office quick because of online check in.  Staff was very courteous and Dr was friendly as precise. Definitely recommend

Everything was good. The staff was very professional. I was not feeling well with a bad headache and hard of breathing since Friday. This Monday morning still feeling the same. Was headed to emergency room in Birmingham. Saw this facility and decided to try it. Good decision.

Woke up sick, made appt for 815. Wait time in lobby was about 20 minutes. Overall time at AFC was over 2 hours. They were very nice and apologized for the wait but considering there were only two other people being seen besides myself, that seems a bit excessive. It’s never been like that before so I would continue to use this location unless time in clinic continues to be longer than about an hour.

Wanted covid tests due to runny nose. Although it was negative, I was prescribed medicine for symptoms and given thorough understanding of condition. Professional and timely.

Doctors and nurses were loudly talking about me in the hall until I spoke up and let them know I could hear them. Very unprofessional. The lady at the front desk was awesome kept a smile on and made me feel better overall than the actual Doctor.
