The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, individuals who should consider getting tested for hepatitis include those who have been exposed to blood or body fluids of a person with hepatitis, people who have had unprotected sex with a person who has hepatitis, individuals who share needles or other drug paraphernalia, and those who have a family history of liver disease. Additionally, anyone who is experiencing symptoms of hepatitis, such as jaundice, fatigue, nausea, and abdominal pain, should get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and cirrhosis. Early detection and treatment can help prevent these complications and improve long-term health outcomes. Furthermore, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
