I came here and was greeted immediately by the fine staff at front desk. Within minutes I had a room and my vitals were taken. The medical assistant Karina was very kind and gentle when drawing my blood. She also helped me schedule a follow up and was patient with me as I took my time to think. Overall this clinic was very clean and I would highly recommend that anyone come here for a quick and pleasant visit.

I needed to have a rapid COVID test done before traveling. Very easy to schedule an appointment on a holiday weekend. People I spoke with were very pleasant and professional

The man who did my test was very busy and was doing his best. He was very kind and he did a good job! I had a very good experience

We had the most polite man help us. My daughter was registered but the website would not allow me to register for my son. He was so kind and took care of it so I could have both my children Covid tested. He was so patient. Definitely an asset to your company.

This was an easy and great way to get my rapid test done! Staff were super friendly and kind!

HAd sypmtoms develop overnight (loss of taste/smell) and needed a quick test. Was able to book within 1 Hr. for both a RPID and PCR test.

The gentle man that logged me in and gave tests was outstanding! I would highly recommend Augustus!

I could not believe how prompt and efficient this place was. No problem getting an appointment quickly. My wife and I were both in and out amazingly quick, the tech was friendly and described the whole test before she did it, and there was nothing to it !!! Not too happy with the test results, but that is not your fault !

- Verified patient on 8/30

Everything went extremely smooth. Only comment, be sure lot is clean of any PPE ie masks, gloves, wrappers from tests

I went to Immediate Care by Curewell for drive-up Covid testing. I was very happy with the testing. The process was smooth, efficient and caring. The same is true for the follow-up after receiving the test results. I would go back to this location and recommend it to others.

I had trouble finding a same-day appointment online. I saw the Covid testing sign, drove up, and never left my car! it said the next appointment was over an hour away, but they ended up taking me in about 20 min! Was glad to get it over at 4:30 pm when all other sites were booked up or closed for the evening. They said 3 days but it was about 40 hours

The young lady who tested me gets 5 stars in friendliness and bedside manner, however her co-worker seemed extremely irritated. I thought his lack of professionalism was uncalled for. They tell you it’s ‘free’ testing for the Rapid antigen which is less reliable. The PCR test is not free if you have insurance. I would recommend this location for it’s method and my staff attendant. I booked my appt. online.

So fast and easy with a great staff. There are testing places closer home but definitely worth the extra drive. The wonderful technician made my day!

This was my first time at this facility and the person performing the covid test was amazing. Super nice, explained everything, and was very gentle in taking the samples. I am very happy with the process from arrival to receiving my results.

This is our 5th COVID test and always go to Immediate Care by Curewell. They come to your car to take the swab, and they are always super friendly. We got results back fast, too. If you need a COVID test, I recommend them!

- Verified patient on 9/27

Easy to schedule on short notice, they were able to test without us leaving the car. PCR results in less than 24 hrs.

- Verified patient on 11/28

got my first ever test for covid here because the medical tyranny has led to united center requiring a negative test or proof of having gotten the not-vaccines, and I was very happy to learn how poorly validated all of the process is. I was never asked to show id to get the test done under the name I signed up with, and neither did the United center security check my id either when I presented the pdf of my negative result. and I'm also happy to see how simple and easy to fake the result pdf is. and since no federal seal on test result, unlike faking a vaccine card there is no penalty or even any mechanism for one to be implemented which would make forging such a document illegal. now I know next time I don't have to bother with a test, I can just alter the date on my negative result! thanks for making this so easy. God bless everyone who works there!

- Verified patient on 11/17

Although i got a false positive from the rapid test, the staff was great, explained everything to me about the test choices and encouraged me to get the PRC which is more accurate. Fortunately, that was negative.

- Verified patient on 9/4

Went for a COVID PCR test. Took no time . The health professional explained everything very well and was professional.

I went to 3 facilities for a test and was turned away. Yours was willing to help me, went out of their way for me. A wait period but they were able to do my test and results pretty quick. They realize not all people in their 80’s are not all internet savvy. Thank you,

Came right to the car. Staff was so nice. Said it would take 90 mins but it took five hours - but very overwhelmed with testing.

Downers Grove Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
