I was visiting with family from another state , woke up not feeling well with a new baby coming home from the hospital. Definitely needed to be seen to make sure I wasn’t contagious.  Googled urgent care facilities near me, walked in , filled out paperwork and was taken back immediately.  Staff weee extremely courteous and professional.  I was in and out before I knew it. The longest part was filling out the paperwork .  I would definitely recommend this provider!

Came home from work and noticed that my child had a high fever. Her pediatrician office was closed so I googled and saw that this urgent care was opened. It was super easy scheduling an appointment on my phone and sending my insurance information with just a picture. There was probably a 25 min wait time to be put in a room but it’s an urgent care so considering that it’s not bad at all since the waiting area was full. Everyone was super friendly from the front desk guy to the MA and especially the Dr. She took her time examining my daughter and explaining the care and treatment process. Thank you for listening and caring, I would highly recommend.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person should be tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug-injection equipment, those who have had unprotected sex, healthcare workers, and individuals who have lived in or traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis. Additionally, anyone born to a mother with hepatitis, or who has a sexual partner with hepatitis, should also be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it is a silent disease that can cause severe damage to the liver over time if left untreated. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making early detection and treatment vital. Regular testing can help prevent the spread of the disease and lead to early treatment, reducing the risk of liver damage, liver cancer, and death.
