I was visiting with family from another state , woke up not feeling well with a new baby coming home from the hospital. Definitely needed to be seen to make sure I wasn’t contagious.  Googled urgent care facilities near me, walked in , filled out paperwork and was taken back immediately.  Staff weee extremely courteous and professional.  I was in and out before I knew it. The longest part was filling out the paperwork .  I would definitely recommend this provider!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who has been exposed to blood, semen, or other body fluids of a person infected with hepatitis should get tested. This includes individuals who share needles or other drug-injection equipment, have unprotected sex, or have a mother with hepatitis. Furthermore, healthcare and public safety workers at risk for exposure to blood or blood-contaminated body fluids should also consider testing. In River Edge, NJ, and surrounding areas, it's important to consult your healthcare provider if you believe you are at risk.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. According to the CDC, chronic hepatitis can cause liver disease, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection can help prevent these complications and allow for effective treatment. In River Edge, NJ, and nearby cities like New Milford and Oradell, getting tested can also help control the spread of hepatitis in the community.
