Easy in and easy out. I just wish there was more seats to sit on. People tend to bring a plus one and I wasn’t able to sit so I stood outside in the rain until I saw a seat open.

Showed up at the Ruston urgent care location for a walk in, learned about the crazy wait time but also the app, so I installed Solv and found that the Tacoma urgent care location has appointments available to schedule that day, where Ruston only had tomorrow. So I scheduled one just 30 minutes away, rushed to the office and the app knew I was there so I checked in, talked to the receptionist, she already had my insurance and stuff from the app scanning my card👍 so she photoed my ID and told me I'd have a 45 minute wait. I was excited for this. I left and used the wait list on the app to track my position in line, and showed up, was seen pretty much right away, dental assistant was kind, put in all the info, doctor came in right away, got the antibiotics I needed immediately. Pharmacy had my prescription ready soon as I got there, within 10 minutes probably. The whole experience was pretty amazing and even though it was sudden and I was in pain, had to learn about the app and whatnot, it was so easy. Very impressed.

Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care is my favorite urgent care to go to. Convenient online scheduling, easy check-in process, fast wait times, concerns are addressed appropriately, friendly staff, and you're out in about an hour from start to finish. The only area that could be improved is if you have questions after your appointment, it's hard to get a hold of anyone, and then you don't get a call back. I highly recommend Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care

Overview of STD Testing in Kent

Who should get tested for STDs?

In general, sexually active individuals should consider regular STD testing as a part of their overall health routine. This is particularly important for those who have multiple partners, those who engage in unprotected sex, or those who have been notified by a partner of an STD diagnosis. According to the CDC, sexually active women under 25, or older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners, should be tested annually for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Men who have sex with men should also have regular screenings for syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining both individual and public health. Early detection and treatment can prevent serious health complications such as infertility, cancer, and organ damage. Moreover, knowing one's STD status can help prevent the spread of these diseases to others. According to the CDC, many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they show no signs or symptoms. Therefore, getting tested is the only sure way to know your status.
