The medical professional I saw Julia Ferrara PA was great.   The front desk receptionist was nice but not very professional talked about morning gossip. I heard someone (staff) I was first patient and was told no one was here yet and had to wait ( I was early so that was fine) coughing terribly in the back of the office - he or she sounded awful and for an urgent care didn’t like hearing that.  Maybe should have stayed at home like I did.

I went in due knee injury from a bike wreck. Easy making an appointment and got right in and was only to here little over an hour and that included X-ray..the Dr give me a slip for work. But work said no due to 90% of day was to be sitting and all I needed was sit as needed...so waiting on Dr to rewrite the paper so I can go back to work as I can't afford to miss any work I will return here for any other issue

Filled out the online paperwork and 5 mins we went to the back and the doctor came in and 5mins later we were done

My first time at Guidewell today made a lasting impression on me. From my phone conversation with receptionist, the ease at scheduling appt, the quick response time for that appt, I was already impressed. Wait time at the office was minimal; Katherine (ARNP) was so caring, gentle and kind. She listened to everything I told her, and made the decision for me to have X-RAYS taken. After having this procedure done, Katherine came back into the room and made some great recommendations for me to follow through with. I only wish I could make Guidewell my Primary Healthcare Provider! Marsha

I started experiencing bladder pains and realized I was getting a UTI. Being on vacation and from out of town, I didn’t know where to get help. I went online and found the clinic and I am so happy I went to AFC Urgent Care. The receptionist could not have been more helpful and the assistant who took my vitals was so professional and kind. The doctor was so thorough and made sure she addressed every concern. My medication was called in and ready in less than a half hour. This was such a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you for taking such great care of me!!

I thought  might have an infection so went in to have it check out. I was greeted with a smile and the very nice lady at the desk was very helpful in assisting me with my check-in. The healthcare staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I did have an infection and was given instructions and a prescription which was sent to the pharmacy of my choice. I am so thankful for the help, it sure made my vacation away from home a good experience. Based on my experience I would recommend them.

Went to bed Thursday night not feeling well. Friday still not feeling well so I scheduled an appointment with urgent care for Saturday morning at 8:10 am. I checked in from my vehicle outside that was extremely convenient. There was someone inside checking in while I walked in the door to be seated in the lobby. Another person walked in and both were taken back prior to me. Mind you I do have an appointment at 8:10 am and it is currently 8:20 am. I know there was an appointment, but I did not get called back until about 8:45. This was unacceptable for me. Also, I had met my deductible and was still charged a copay of $119. I can't wait to get my refund, and it sounds like I will have to wait in excess of 45 days. Mind you it did not take this long for them to swipe my card. On a more positive note, the staff is absolutely amazing. The provider took really good care of me and explained everything to me in a way that was easy for me to understand

There was a backup with the radiologist reading the x ray. The attending told us that she would call us with the results. We never received the call and had to call the office the next day to find out the results. This was our only complaint

Awesome experience from front desk to nurse & doctor care!!

We have had to visit this facility a few times, when we are vacationing in Florida. The staff are so caring and helpful. This will be the facility we will go to when we are in St. Petersburg.

My husband had been in a few days earlier tested negative for Flu, Covid, and RSV but chest x-ray showed a little pneumonia. I started coughing Thursday night so I went straight in on Friday hoping to head it off at the pass but the doctor ran no test, said she didn’t hear wheezing even though I was and every the xray tech heard it. She gave me some cough pills and sent me on my way. I have continued to deteriorate now having sore throat and on and off spiking a low fever. Not impressed with the care I received. The PA my husband had was far more attentive. Update: The head doctor called me personally because he found this unacceptable and had me go back in for testing. I tested positive for Influenza A so I really appreciated his due diligence to get me answers so I have adjusted my overall score to reflect his efforts. Thank you Dr. Shital-Hiten Upadhyay.
