About

About Patient First

Patient First opened its first medical center in 1981. It offers a variety of primary and urgent care services at 77 clinics across the mid-Atlantic region of the United States, and all its clinics are open to serve patients seven days a week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Patient First is accredited by the National Urgent Care Center Accreditation to ensure its patients receive the best possible urgent care experience available. This urgent care provider offers telehealth and in-person healthcare without requiring an appointment. Patients can be evaluated, diagnosed, and treated during a single visit and receive on-site lab services, X-rays, and medication prescriptions. Patient First says it cares for 60% of diagnoses typically seen in hospital emergency rooms, but for a fraction of the cost. Some of the many conditions treated at Patient First urgent care centers include infections, fractures, allergies, cuts, and burns.
