I did a walk-in, so the scheduling wasn’t an issue at all. The staff was friendly.  They appeared to work very well together, and knew what they were doing.   They were confident and competent and efficient in their duties. I appreciate the provider for reminding me that I needed to lose weight(ha ha ha), as if I didn’t know that already. Nevertheless, he’s right and I am and have been working on it. Otherwise everyone was nice friendly seem to work as a team show that they were confident and competent in what they were doing. Overall good experience. Good work Team!!!

Checking myself in through my phone and having to take and submit pictures of my license and insurance was a bit tedious. The wait was long but I was understanding of that, as it was a busy day. And Dr. Morgan is superb, I've used this clinic for many years just because of her. She is worth the wait. I felt heard and she well attended to my needs. The nursing staff and front desk were also extremely nice. I would definitely recommend this location to others. But next visit I will try to plan better for a less busy day.

Been feeling run down for over a week with a runny nose that just wouldn't quit. I finally had enough and drove to AFC at 8am.  The check in tablet process seems to improve a little each time. Only thing was I couldn’t fine BCBS of Alabama in the provider dropdown. I tried typing Blue Cross and BCBS but there was no entry for it. Turns out I had to type Alabama Blue Cross and then I found it in the dropdown. I recommend they pre-populate the first few entries with the most common ones used for each AFC location. It would really cut down on the check in time aggravation. When you’re sick, that check in tablet process gets frustrating when you can’t easily progress and get stuck on one thing. The picture taking process was aggravating too. It has to be an almost perfect picture with no glare. It’s kinda hard to take a picture in the office with the sun streaming thru all the windows. Anyway once the dr saw me, she was professional, attentive, caring and helpful. Staff were overly friendly as well. I feel 200% better today once the medicines started to kick in. Overall a positive experience. Thank you, American Family Care

Staff was pleasant and professional. Scheduling was fine and e-paperwork was easy. Our only issue was with check-in upon arrival. Scheduled appt ahead of time, arrived at our appointment time, checked in with front desk and paid co-pay, told we would be called back shortly. Received confirmation of check-in 50 min after appointment time. It’s not an unbearable time to wait but in the moment with a child burning in fever and weak, it felt like an eternity especially seeing later arrivals called back. I do understand some cases are more urgent than others. Staff addressed my concern and called us back within 20 minutes of bringing it to their attention. Front desk receptionist said it was an issue with moving our appointment from one screen to another. We were treated with care and were well on our way within 30 minutes of being called back. Total time 2 hours. Not too bad. Just make sure you receive a text confirmation that you’ve been checked-in.
