Brita and Caroline the PA were amazing! They were very efficient. I love how clean the facility was. I would recommend these two ladies and your urgent care to anyone. I work in the medical field and I was very impressed. The only thing I would recommend would be wheel chair accessible doors. There should be a push button for entrance and exit. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10

Overview of STD Testing in Southfield

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially those who have multiple partners or are in a new sexual relationship. It's also important for people who have had unprotected sex, shared needles for drug use, or have symptoms of an STD to get tested. According to the CDC, some STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they show no signs or symptoms. This makes regular testing crucial for early detection and treatment.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a vital part of maintaining good sexual health. Early detection can prevent serious health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, organ damage, and other long-term health problems. It can also help prevent the spread of STDs to others. According to the CDC, many STDs are curable, and all are treatable, making regular testing an essential part of healthcare.
