I had a 1:00 appt for COVID-19 testing. When I checked in, they told me they were running 3 hours behind. They said they would text me when to returned. They texted me at 4:00 to say they were still running behind. I was finally texted at 5:00 to come to the lobby. Throughout, Kimberly was polite and professional. You have a gem there. I saw Lisa who was equally professional and competent. You really need to give those people more staffing.

I have been to this AFC location multiple times (for COVID and non-Covid issues) and have been pleased with my treatment every time! My latest visit was for a Covid test and I knew there would be a long wait. I was informed of my wait time when I arrived, was sent an wait-time update text during my wait and actually got in quicker than anticipated! I truly appreciate this clinic and their staff ( ESPECIALLY DAVID AND JANET)! Janet and David never rushed me while I discussed my symptoms/lack of symptoms, expressed my concerns and answered ALL of my questions during my visit! I can not imagine the stress that health care workers are going through right now (and all throughout the ongoing COVID pandemic), but greatly appreciate the professionalism, caring and friendliness shown by all the members of the Chapman Hwy AFC clinic staff! 1st time patient here. Been sick, struggled to find a location that could get a vivid rapid test within less than 6 hrs. They had an opening that was almost perfect for my travel time. Booked it. Girlfriend wanted tested too, they saw her as well. Staff was very good, felt like we made friends when we left. NP/Doc was very professional and explained things exceptionally well, also provided scripts for possible (likely but unconfirmed) flu/sinus infection. Great experience altogether. Highly recommended.

This was the first visit to this clinic. The facility was clean. My son was tested for flu and strep which was surprisingly negative since he could not swallow due to his throat being so incredibly sore. The doctor did not prescribe antibiotics in which I feel that an extremely sore throat with excessive green phlegm was really needed. She only prescribed mouth wash and something for occasional cough. He still 2 days later has an extreme sore throat so not really sure what move to make next.

It was an overall good experience. Although I had a lengthy wait time before being seen, I understand it was because of risks and to protect others. The check-in process online was alright and Dr. Congress was very nice and I appreciated that she would sit down and just genuinely listen and would offer her advice. The person who conducted the tests was also very nice. I also appreciated how quick the service after being seen was. I would definitely recommend this place in the future.

We were in town only for the day when my daughter’s throat got much worse. It was easy to get in to be seen, great social distancing, acceptable wait time, and friendly staff. The nurse testing for strep and Covid did a wonderful job at calming my daughter down.

From start to finish, my experience was excellent. I have used this Urgent Care before, and I find it the best in the area. The staff is kind, understanding and patient. They do not rush you through the process and do all they can to make you feel comfortable the entire time. They are as thorough as they can be so as not to miss any critical information. I felt like everything was clean. Safe distancing is a priority. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care and commend the staff on their professionalism and care.

I came in from out of town to visit. Had a sinus issue and made appointment with the clinic. I got in on time and the staff was so helpful and so friendly. Made me feel at home. I have a wonderful PC in Knoxville but was at my daughters 2 mi from Sevierville TN AFC. I have used them several times as well as the one in Fountain City AFC. They never disappoint & I received excellent care from the time I walk in the door. I usually make an appointment ahead to shorten waiting & fill out the paperwork online. The MA that checked me in as well as the doctor were very thorough. I was quite sick with a respiratory COPD flare up & prescribed proper meds. You WILL receive excellent care. I was in & out in one hour & that included results of flu, strept & COVID tests. Try to remember if you do have to wait they are humans & sometimes they have staff out sick too.

This is our go to Urgent Care for several years now and have always had great experience, however this visit left me completely puzzled... my daughter had injured her hand, from pinky to wrist, no fracture was found however it was recommended to wrap it for stability for now. The physician wrapped her arm from wrist to elbow with an ace bandage instead of protecting her pinky and hand. I spoke up because I have been trained to wrap and cast. We moved to a different room where she proceeded to make a wrist splint and wrapped my daughters hand and arm leaving my daughter unable to move her fingers or her thumb... how can a physician not know how to properly splint and wrap an injury... (I rewrapped after we left supporting her pinky and wrist) This is not the first time we have gone there with injuries like this, however this is the first time I have experienced a physician unable to do this, and I worked in urgent care for 5+ years

I walked in with an injury from a fall. The lady behind the desk worked to get me back immediately. The nurse was very kind and gentle with my arm. They got me in for x-rays, got my arm cleaned up and bandaged, gave me a tetanus shot, and had a diagnosis of no breaks--just abrasions and contusions. The PA was very kind and informative. She got me into a sling, gave me a prescription for muscle relaxers, and I was on my way in about 1.5 hours. This clinic is great. I have been here 4 times and had a good experience each time. I highly recommend this clinic.

I was from out of town traveling on vacation started having a cough and severe sore throat and sinus pain and drainage . Tried various remedies from gargles, nasal rinses, allergy medicine for 4 days . No improvement. Searched on google to find an urgent care. Appointment was made as a walk in and I was called in before I had my paperwork in. Staff helped me finish it , I felt so bad. Physician Assistant came in and he checked me very thoroughly. I received a shot and a prescription was called in to a local pharmacy. They even checked to see if my insurance was accepted and gave me directions. PA came back in room to check on me after shot and discharged instructions given. Very prompt, staff was excellent, care exceeded expectations. Thank you for the care I received. 😇 Highly recommend this provider.
